Artist Statement, CV, and Links

I have always been fascinated by balance, that constant battle of wits with inertia and gravity.

I find myself continually attracted to lines that travel parallel and then intersect and separate again.

The chaotic fluid lines formed by nature appeal to the spiritual drive in me. The lines implemented in architectural design patronize my desire for logic.

All of these mindsets in concert result in the sculpture that I’m compelled to build.

Viewing art is often like a new conversation, one always finds something to agree and disagree.

Site specific works are my favorite. I love meeting new people. Learning new perspectives. Seeing new places.
